I asked my boyfriend in Canada once, how he deals with polar bears because I was curious about what to do and he was like, just be calm, let them know you’re there, and give them space and they’ll usually just go away.
Considering theres literally a mama bear and some cubs wandering around my neighborhood these last few weeks i can 100% confirm the validity of this post. We really do just ask them to go.
Theyre canadian bears so… they’re polite too.
I don’t wanna claim to know more about bears than someone who frequently incurs the need to not-so-politely shoo them away…but.
