What’s your Guilty Pleasure!SasuHina trope?
AND/OR
If you could rip an overused SasuHina cliche/trope from everyone’s memory…what would it be?
Guilty pleasure is “pining Sasuke”. I (for some reason) love the idea of him being infatuated with her and she’s either oblivious or doesn’t care.
Trope I want erased? Abusive Sasuke. I get that he was a world class A-Hole for like 93% of the series, and yeah, totally tried to kill his friends more than once. Definitely has some issues… but controlling, abusive, never sorry to anyone, ever, Sauce just needs to go away from fic and never, ever return. The flip side to that is I want ridiculously delicate, fragile, stuttering mess Hinata gone. She outgrew that shit. She stared down motherfucking Obito at age SIXTEEN and gave Naruto the “get your ass up and fight” speech while her family and friends laid bleeding and dying around them. I’m sorry, but if you think for one minute Sasuke scares her…Bwuahahahahahahaha. **wipes eyes**
I am in agreement about the Abusive!Sasuke trope. I get tired of it easy. ALSO, this is not exactly SasuHina but it tends to come with it a lot and it’s the Bitch!Sakura counterpart that comes with SasuHina. Just let my girls be friends, please? (i was guilty of this early on, I apologize)
As for guilty pleasure trope for SasuHina, MOST DEFINITELY mutual pining without the other knowing. Back and forth agonizing and just barely missing that vital piece of information that locks everything into place.
