rose: which of your works is your favorite? why?

There’s a one shot I wrote a few years back. Buried in my one shot dump Free Fall.

It’s called Butterflies. It’s very rough and written from an OC’s (a child at that) POV. I think about a certain scene in there a lot. It’s one I could never get out of my head even after writing the one shot. I’ve toyed with expanding on it properly (because there’s more to it that I never wrote) but who has the time?

Anyway that one is my favorite with Larkspur being a close second only because that one is my golden child.

water lily: what helps you get through writer’s block?

The thing about being blocked is I’m always (technically) blocked lol. But if the mood strikes I’ll scribble and my brain is never all the way off so I’ll just spin my wheels and put it on paper and if it’s okay ish I’ll post it.

One thing that’s helped me a lot recently is realizing this is all for fun and my main audience is /me/. I /like/ being ridiculous so I’m going to write about ridiculous things in a very normal setting. Oh! And bouncing ideas off of someone helps too. Helps it all get in order. Honestly the least amount of pressure I put on myself the better. It’s been working out I think?
